jagmaster is 230. I asked.

I think the duo is so cheap because they just want to get rid of it.

Think of how this sort of thing must have happened back in the 60s and 70s, with shortscales and jazzmasters. Ugh.

I now have 3 of these on the way. 2 from MF and 1 from GC. I am going to keep one for myself (and tint the damned albino neck) and flip 2. I am going to ry to pick up a couple more tomorrow if anyone from across the pond wants in. I would guess, even with shipping (neck off) it would be a good deal. Let me know. I know one of the two extra I ordered is already spoken for. Either way, a deal like that, I will buy all I can and either sell them on here or CL. (of course on here would be at cost or so...) I need to try to flip one of them for a little $ though as I really should not have bought another guitar this week. So if I can flip one locally for 200 (which considering it would still be in the box brand new and 130 30-40% under retail would still be a great deal for someone) it would pay for mine...LOL... I love it..

Thanks for checking with us, but we can't do that price. That's a heck of a deal.

Call MF right now. They will match and no shipping/tax. 99 out the door.

dude, if guitar center will honor this price, their policy is to give 10% of the difference. thats another 18 dollars off the 99 bucks. thats like 80 dollars. 80 dollars!!!! Thats a price even my parents can understand is an impossible deal! Shit man. I HAVE to buy this guitar.

EDIT: Just got off the phone with my local guitar center. So, if Victor Litz Music Center (or w/e) is an authorized Fender dealer (they're gonna call the store), then I can get that guitar for 77 dollars plus 6% CT sales tax which issssss....a grand total of 81.62. EPIC WINNN!!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH ENDS! As someone has said before, I wish I could fly down to maryland and kiss you sweet tits!

They won't do the 10% on this one. The 99 price point is because victorlitz is discontinuing selling that model. All of the price match guarantees do not count against closeout sales. They are being cool and matching it still, but they won't' give you the extra 10%. Mainly because at 99 that is probably at least a 25-50% loss on their part. Their cost on the guitar is probably at least 150.

Also, they will not give you any other breaks (you know how you can usually get them to discount other stuff), and you have to luck out to get more than 1 as when they price match, it is suppossed to be limited to 1 of each item. I got lucky and they let me order 2.

well, i only want one, so w/e. about the 10 percent, even if they don't, they owe me 10% from a previous transaction anyways. Plus, I know all the guys there, they're all super nice and they wouldn't weasle their way into the most cash possible.

Do you want me to pick one up for you. I would guess that with neck removed, shipping would probably be $50 maybe. That would be 150 or so shipped? If that is the case, that is still what?? 90 ponds or so. That is still alot cheaper...

We will see. I may have to be forst come first serve on these. I have to see how much cash I got left, and if I end up bro dealing all of them or if I can flip one or two locally fro some extra cash. If I can keep one for a few weeks I totally will though...

BTW. I now have 6 on the way.

I have now ordered 9 guitars and an amp in the last 4 days for a grand total of:

1250 cash. Of which I am going to turn around and sell 5 of the guitars (maybe 4) and get back alot of my money.

Purchases this week...

takamine acoustic/electric w/case
Bugera V5
Univox mosrite copy
Avril Lavigne tele (to mod with p-rails...)
6 Duosonics... LOL.

well, the thing is, the money is controlled by parents who don't support me getting a new guitar...but even my dad seemed sold on this one, because he knows what an incredible deal it is. I'm going to Guitar Center either tomorrow or this weekend, and if they honor the price drop (which they said they would), that shit's coming home with me fo sho.
