yea, I meant to ask cassie about her guitar but the conversation shifted and I never got a chance.

I kind of hate their guitar sound actually. fucking plinky as all hell. I should have asked if she wanted a guitar tech. =P


I like the dirtier sound they had on their demo-cd.

they do sound quite like those dullard bands on sarah records in the 80s. a bit twee for my constitution.

(would happily entertain the bassist for an evening though)

that is exactly like a jazzmaster I saw bradford cox of deerhunter playing. it's weird because it looks like a CP jazzmaster because of the trem location but they haven't made any CP jazzies in blue. It must be the same guitar. bradford knows a lot of people I wouldn't be surprised if he gave it to her.

edit: WTR, do you know where those pictures are from? thinking about it, she might have just borrowed that guitar from someone.
