I think its a copy of a matchless amp. Not sure which model though.

It isn't a direct copy of any amp I know. The aesthetics recall Matchless, as I guess does the overdrive channel, but they don't do a 2 channel amp like this. The clean channel is what I bought it for and it's brilliant - really wide range of sounds available.

i currently have my laptop hooked up to my stero system and i must say i am truly impressed by the clean sound, and even the dirt channel sounds really nice.
and at about 450 usd, it seems like its most definitly worth it.
BUT! i would still choose my bassman over it, even tho, the bugera has way more features.
if i can ever find that model in the 300 price range i would not hesitate to pick it up.

			It's $350 in the states.

And of course I would have a Bassman if they cost £250 over here, but they don't, they're more like £450+ and very rare in the UK.

This was my first thought too. I like the cleans a lot, the reverb's surprisingly good, and it seems to take to pedals well. Nice one, secretive Mike.

Why would anyone repair anything that came with a Warranty?
Because the internet told them to? Sorry haters, it's a winner.

Did you say the verb is DSP?
Not that this makes any kind of difference in light of everything else, just askin'.

Yup, it's DSP Reverb but it's bypassable for all you tone purists.

I think it sounds good as far as Reverb goes.

Annoyingly they only post to your card holding address so I couldn't get it sent to work and had to stay home for the Parcelforce Gimp.

This amp reminds me alot of the Peavey Classic 50, both in terms of feature set and sound.
As with the 50, I'm not a huge fan of the dirt channel pushed further than halfway up the gain dial and the universal EQ kinda trumps the two channel thing, in terms of their application in performance scenarios. I still think this thing is worth every penny if only for the clean. Ecellent demo, Mike.
