Thanks guys.Actually,she got this for me just for the case.I told her that I wanted a nicer case for my Tele Custom(which is in a crummy plastic 80's Fender case)."This case came with a guitar" she told me "you can it keep or sell it if you want".

I put the tele in the strat case and the strat in the tele case. But I feel a little guilty about kicking the strat out of it's case. Especially after reading about The Squier JV Series

Those "economy tuners" are quite good. Love the set on my mim squire tele. There are a few lemons of the bunch but I've had nothing but good results with them. Excellent and thoughtful gift! I would keep the guitar as 1) they're great guitars and are hard to come by. 2) it was a gift, and a good one at that.

Enjoy!

Yup. Any girl that buys you guitars is a keeper. Mine is always discouraging me from buying gear!

Yes, any g/f or wife that buy you guitars is a keeper.

My wife USED to buy me guitars;
'92 Strat Plus
'94 Ovation Celeb
'07 Ovation Elite-T (partial loan... repaid in full)

I have been under threat of divorce for any new guitars. So I bought another last night, '04 Squier Affinity.
(See Nice little CL find)
