MOROBERTOG Sitar project:WITH VIDEO

Post by light rail coyote »

So I finally got around to kinda working on that electric sitar I'm making out of the ash/concrete bady I got from Robert, with Mo's ball sack outline.
By working on it I mean I found some weird ass chrome plate for it and decided where I want to put it. I'm going to route out under the control plate and then just route for the pickup and nothing else. no pick guard.

Ignore the tele pickup. I'm going to put some kind of single coil in there, I just wanted to see where about I would want to put one.

I got the malmsteeeeenz

I bet the scalloped fretboard will be useful on an electric sitar... I've always wanted one of those jerry jones alikes, it's very tempting seeing those bridges about.

Is it going to be a solid colour or natural or translucent?

That metal control plate is a custom control plate for a Fender Precision bass. So many people bust the plastic pickguards and this is designed to fix that.
