My friend Collin from Scotland once had to write the word "Merge" on a cocktail napkin, to get me to understand "MEEEEh-RRDGGGggg". It WAS in a loud bar, though.
I really enjoyed watching that. So many great sounds, and its nice to hear people in the know confirm some great sounds are achieved by cascading a certain pedal into another. I've been happy with the Sovtek Muff>TS dual sound for a long time, but im tempted to start trying out some other combinations. Its time to dig out the Fuzz Faces, Blue Box and the good old HM-2.

Kind of unrelated, but my friend lived in London for a while as a kid, and he remembers being in school and having to write about what they did at the weekend. The guy sitting next to him wrote about watching a race and seeing Nijuu Mansuu win.
Sodder grates my ears as much as 'toob' for tube. I realise it's an accent thing but I have to remind myself that when I have the reaction of thinking someone is an idiot because they've just said Toosday.
yes indeed. it was based on the marshall supa fuzz variant, though i think the circuit is the same. it's a really good fuzz. i think mine was only £50 and mike did a great job as well.
