That means I'll have plenty of time to do the business my end before I head to broefest.

Who would have thought that a drunken conversation I had with Mike about a thread at the EA forum would lead to us ordering 1,800 plectrums with an Icey quote on the back.

I'm going to have a quick read of the customs policy because it's possible there may be a legal method to both declare the full value and to avoid paying the fees.

I know more hassle for ends/James, but were we still planning on giving everyone one of each colour and then make up the rest of their order wit the colour they ordered?
Guess it might not work so well if people only ordered 25...

Sometime in the next couple of days I'll have a look at the logistics of that. I think perhaps we could do it on request if not everybody is into it.

I'd be down for that. IT's really no extra effort on my behalf. counting is counting.

I think it'd work out that some people could have that even if it doesn't work out neatly enough for everybody to have one of each colour and the rest filled up by their regular order. I'll play with the numbers in a bit and see how it goes.

I am happy to "lose" some pics to get one of each color. But it depends on how the number work out on each color.

It was a bit awkward to do. I just moved them around until the totals added up. The numbers on the right are the ones with one of each colour as a minimum. The ones in black are where people are only ordering one colour so those are set, but the ones in red are the ones I played around with to make the totals work. I'd rather have more purple than I do blue, and I'm sure a lot of people will have similar thoughts, but really it's only a few less and it'll be worth it to have a full set.

I can play around with it a bit more, but I don't want to do too much because it will get tedious. If people are happy with it like this we'll go for it, if there are objections (and feel free to voice them, you're paying your money for these) then we can perhaps put it to a vote, or (a better solution) have some people only have their original order and have the others have the one of each deal. It will likely be easier to work out those total as there will be less disruption. For example not that many people ordered purple, so the numbers for those that did have dropped a fair bit to accomdate lots of others having 1 each. With less people going for it the people who ordered purple will possibly be able to get more of them (if they've also ordered another colour that has increased to counter the loss of purple).

I'll leave this open for opinions, and then we can perhaps draw up a list of who does and who doesn't want one of each and go from there.

I was one of the purples. I don't mind losing a few if I get the "full sampler".

Cool. I think most people will be down with it. So if we make a list of who is and then calculate from there.

People yet to respond - check that table above and see if you're happy with the adjustments, post here if you are or if you want just a standard order.

confirmed for one of each

i'd rather not lose out on more than one or two greens if at all possible, i do use them a fair bit and i only took more yellows to even out the numbers.

if that's going to bugger things up i'm not going to cry about it though, whatever's easiest on the whole.

We'll see if anyone wants to stick to their original order, then I'll re-jig the numbers to give you some greens back.
