I had no idea that the avri's headstock decal floats on top of the clear coat...so this will be an easy fix once I find a good replacement for it.

WHen I opened the case and saw that, I thought I had just got fucked. I know that they used to float them on top of the clear back in the day, because my 64 mustang and 66 Coronado are that way, but didn't think Fender would go through the trouble of trying to be "vintage correct". I thought I had just bought a guitar that someone switched necks on, and that I should of caught that in the auction since no one bid on it but me...but then I took the neck off and saw all the silver stains and AV written on it, I felt alot better. I pm'd dots and asked him to check his AVRI and his is like mine.
