I am sure some of you wonder what the hell I am up to with all these guitars I fix. I have worked on dozens, and not one demo tape. Right now I am sitting on at least three guitars of every major brand, and a few weirdo models. And sure enough, they are in a pile in my basement. It's a neat pile, and they are all cared for, but they are not getting played or sold. But I think I have figured out how to deal with them.Look, you're my best friend, so don't take this the wrong way but, in 20 years if you're still livin' here, comin' over to my house, watchin' the Patriots games, workin' construction, I'll fuckin' kill ya. That's not a threat, that's a fact, I'll fuckin' kill ya.
I am getting ready to start a blog on my guitar projects. I just can't seem to get my shit in one sock for regular board posting, and I could stand to have way more detail and pics. (Since I don't make FX boxes, and I don't have a band, I will need to limp along on my own weird path). I will still post my occasional nonsense here, but this way I can float this info out where people can find it in large doses. It will also include my art and philosophical musings, etc. but not be too Live Journally. I can also post pictures, links, and source info that I have used to make all of this happen. It would be a shame not to collect the info about them, since there aren't that many definitive sites that detail these kinds of projects, from start to finish. I hope I am finally winding down on all the refins so I can make a few custom models, which is what I have wanted to do all along. But I had to learn what worked.
We can re-purpose any of it for use in the wiki, which I have been way too organizationally challenged to do. Once it's built, it will be easier to decide what goes where. Stay tuned for more info.
