Looks good, im quite interested in one for my Bronco bass. There's another on eBay now, BIN Â£250

Bunch of fucking copycats.

Stewart, I've never felt the need to EQ mine, just keep the tone really low. It's OK as a bass amp, but very quiet with my Musicmaster bass. Wait till the kiddie in the flat above is out, then crank it, such a nice sound.

yeah, it's sitting at about 2 and seems fine there. i might go upstairs tomorrow and warn the guy it might get a bit noisy for half an hour!

Yeah they are bright, whcih is well weird for a bass amp. You can get that tuned out though, the circuit is very simple.

And Tim is a twat. He has a Deluxe Reverb, this is clearly just GREED.

Ah, my bandmate and lovely missus Stacey uses the Deluxe Reverb. I'm supposed to use the Bandmaster and cab, but it doesn't fit in my new car without putting the seats down so I had to get a smaller amp. These are 8 Ohm aren't they? I've got a nice Celestion Century Vintage speaker that might go great in this if the stock speaker isn't awesome.

I also notice these amps don't have a fuse. Gonna fit one.

Mine still has the original speaker, and fender valves.

I also reckon it was from the US, it has some transformer/plug shenanigans just inside the cab.

i was playing about with it today and whacking some fuzz pedals through it, sounds lovely. still not had a chance to properly crank it though...

Mine has random valves, and aftermarket switch. Not opening it up til the fuse holder arrives in the post so I don't know if the circuit is stock. Tone pot is shot for 2/3 of it's rotation, but the bit that does work sounds good. In fact the amp is a marvel, even with the stock speaker. I'm gonna play it a bit then quickly swap the speaker out to see if I can hear a difference later.

they're really light though, i was surprised.

just popped the valves out of mine, the two 6AQ5s seem original, but it also has this-

is that a variant of a 12AX7? i'm presuming it isn't the original toob.

ECC83 is the UK designation for 12AX7
