Do a search. This guitar has been discussed for many reasons on here.taylornutt wrote:Just curious cause they look more like toys than real guitars.

I played a couple. They sound good, a lot like the originals (though a bit less warn - more bland). The vibrato is stiff but has a very bigsby-like range. It's good for little wiggles and stays in tune pretty well. You can get them at a good price around here, but to be honest they are nothing special.
If you you're looking for a baritone for country, old surf, tic-tac, etc. the Bari version is great. It's an affordable Bari that isn't all metal and hardcore, plus the vibrato is unique. I wouldn't bother with the guitar, though.

they look way better in real life. Very comfortable to play. But it's made from the souls of dead baby gay whales, and I do not abide.

you could find a nice silvertone on ebay for less than what they're selling the new ones at now.
this proves my point

They're totally different animals, and the '67 is way more useful and versatile than the 1448. You'd really have to compare it to a dual-PUP hand-vibrato shorthorn, which is about $900 minimum.Yarko wrote:you could find a nice silvertone on ebay for less than what they're selling the new ones at now.

Shop by me has the '67s for $280 - can't beat that in vintage.
