i know its not an embraced guitar but the jagstang is my choice, ive played all three and theres something about it that just appeals to me, the only problem is you have to mod the hell out of it.
1 Look at strings
2 Mash fingers into strings
3 Strum other end of strings
4 Declare it to be an A-major sus-47 chord of the Pentecostal scale
5 Smile with satisfaction as 98% of fellow guitarists believe you because they don't understand either

i so agree with this entire statement.
the neck on mine is just so orgasmically fantastic i really can't believe it belonged to something that cost me 200 dollars. Throw some GFS Vintage 59's and block the trem and mine fucking ROCKS

I would say the Mustang, it might not be as versatile as the jaguar, but it gives me the sound I enjoy, and a nice comfy body shape.
I like Mustangs, except for the pickguard shape and I've found the neck to be a little too narrow. I also find the switches on a Mustang to be more confusing than those on a Jag.

depends what era of mustang you're talking about. the necks vary wildly over the years.
