Or is it a Fender '51?

need more pics to tell
1 Look at strings
2 Mash fingers into strings
3 Strum other end of strings
4 Declare it to be an A-major sus-47 chord of the Pentecostal scale
5 Smile with satisfaction as 98% of fellow guitarists believe you because they don't understand either

I think that's sort of cool and sort of really uncool, considering what the '51 was.

I watched the Rolling Stones video for Mixed Feelings recently. I noticed someone playing a guitar that, to me, looked pretty much like a '51. The video's from 1989. Anyone any idea what it was? I've been meaning to bring it up here since, but it hardly seems worth it's own thread.

That's the one. I could have sworn there's something that looked like a '51 in there somewhere. I haven't watched it back since, mind.

I agree with Aen, they're both abominations. I feel the same way about stock Squier 51's, they're hideous. I do like a lot of the heavily modded 51's I've seen though.

Lol. Hanson.

I really don't like that aesthetic in guitar form. I prefer it on the bass.
