Ah, it sounds about right when i play near the neck pickup were i normally played.

I just realized he played closer to the bridge, and the solo comes out sounded like it should.

But that without the fuzz.

Some cool stuff there Mage. I always suspected the chimey almost out of phase sound was a result of the Gretsch electronics and build, but he gets close with the Strat.
I once wired something up wrong on my JS which produced an odd inbetween position sound, like Squires.

IroniaSudby- You have the pedals there that should get you close imo, the Jag may be the weakest link (although his Strat did sound quite accurate live).
Just keep messing around with the settings and play, i think the key is to be sparing with everything. I always found reverb adds a lot, i know he used a Midiverb on stuff like 'I wanna be adored'. The closest chorus match i found without trying a CS9 was a Boss Digital Dimension.

If you think you've nailed the sound post it up! I love anything like this.

Alright i basically defiantly maybe got it. Ill do a video describing the settings
for a couple Roses songs (Why do one when you can do 3).

Now i have to master them to the finest meticulous detail.....Oh god.

I was thinking. Should i do the video breaking the songs down,
playing particular parts and making it Noob friendly.

Or should i just play the songs completely and say what settings i used.

Break them down into the specific parts. Its easier than saying "at 1.54 on the video i nail it"!
Besides, you'll need to explain the settings, theres plenty of guitarists go on Youtube thats tried to get Squires sound.

The guitarist who did those pages is now Brown's actual number one guitarist... what a ridiculous situation!

The guy on the latest record is all i meant as opposed to say Aziz Ibrahim or any other guitarist Brown has worked with.

The guy was originally brought in from 'fools gold' tribute band to just be able to play Roses stuff live quickly and now he's on all the other stuff too I just think it's really surreal.... Imagine if Paul was rocking and recording with the John from the bootleg Beatles :D

Is it the guy playing here. I had a feeling since he is using the same guitar and everything.

The guy also has an updated version of the site. There are even sound clips of the sound he gets and stuff.

How the fuck he gets some of this shit, like that Fender Jaguar Hybrid is beyond me. He even has John's old Mesa Amp.
