Not so good deal on the Tele imho. They are not that much more expensive new?
Brand new Baja Telecaster runs over $1100. All the other used ones were $650 and up. Best deal I have seen

If I could actually get my price for the PRS, I could get 2 guitars. I had lots of watchers and questions but nobody pulled the trigger. I am planning to tweak my ebay and repost immediately. I emailed to get more info on the "AVRI" just to make sure its not a CIJ. I never considered a AVRI cause it was out of my price range. All the others were $1100 and up, so if it's legit, I could go for that and save me money for another guitar in the near future. I want to jump on this, but without the money from the PRS, I am stuck. Let's hope it sells this time and I can move on it by this weekend. I have never played an AVRI, but I hadn't fallen in love with the pickups on either of the CP Jags yet and they sounded nice on the demos I heard.

really? they're about 600 € here (CP MiM), so I thought they would be about 550 $ ... sorry then.

1100 is a killer deal if it's not bullshit.

I relisted the PRS on ebay

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... 0418949565

Some of the original pictures didn't look so hot. I polished her up good and took a new set of pics and dropped the price $50. Black guitars are tough to photograph. If you know a working musician who needs a solid player, send them the link. I want to sell this before my deals run away.

I also found a pedaltrain pro with ata case for $230 that I need. It's hard to prioritize which gear I need first.

Alright shortscalers! I come bringing updates.

I relisted my PRS yesterday and today I finally sold it. I end up getting $1075 for it. Not to shabby I'd say considering I wanted $1200 for it. I am shipping it out tomorrow. No sooner do I get confirmation of the sale then I started looking the the deals I had been researching. I called on the $799 "AVRI" Jag I saw used at a Guitar Center in Massachusetts. Unfortunately, it was actually a CIJ Jaguar and had just been sold. So then I checked on what looked like an identical CIJ Jaguar in New York Guitar Center. It was priced at $699. I called and they still had it so I asked if it was a CIJ Jaguar. After a short pause, the salesman came back and said, " No its an American Reissue Jaguar!" For $699! I was totally stunned and did what any respectable shortscaler wound have done: pulled out the credit card and bought that sucker. The salesman said has a few surface dings but overall pretty nice and did I mention it comes with the case and all the case candy! The manager and salesman both said that the guitar was apparently marked too low and should have been marked for more. The cheapest AVRI Jaguars were going for $1100. My guitar, including shipping, will be $775. Needless to say I am stoked and completely floored by this deal. I always hear about deals like this for other people, but never did I think it would happen to me. Especially from Guitar Center of all places. To top it all off, I have never played a AVRI Jaguar before, but at that price I couldn't walk away from that deal. I can always return it or sell it to another shortscaler if need be. I have a feeling that probably won't be necessary.

Welcome the newest addition to the Family! (Haven't thought of a name yet)

The funny thing about the purchase was how both the salesman and the manager both acknowledged it was marked too low. I kept waiting for one of them to say "Sorry, we can't sell it that low"? It's like they knew they made a mistake but weren't willing or able to change it. Either way, I am happy. I basically spent $100 more than a Fender Classic Player Jag and got the AVRI! The fact that it has a case too just rocks. Jag cases are so tough to find and expensive. I feel very blessed that my PRS sold and that this Jaguaaarrr was waiting.

I was looking at the bridge in the picture. Does that look like a Mustang bridge? It is hard to be sure from this picture, but it looks like my AVRI may already have a Mustang bridge. Jaguar experts please give analysis. If so, I win again.

The salesman said the mute was included with the case and other case "candy"
