i have since leveld the frets but didn't polish them and tho i tried to get rid of the sharp fret ends i was only half successful.

Holy moly, bridge pup is bright!

Sounds great. Regret not buying one at the 100 spree now. :(

Cool demo.

Any idea how much moving the bridge pup back affected the sound? I mean apart from the visual aspect, would moving the pup change the sound so much that it would make a noticeable difference?
No.

I swear that in the demo the bridge sounded "chimier/brighter" than it has in other demos I've seen. I actually want one now specifically for that clean bridge sound he got.

the sound i get thru the camera is not a good rep of the actual sound of the guitar.
i don't think it would make that much of a diff, but perhaps it did, i moved it about 3/4 of an inch back.

The frets on mine were fine, though I do have a fret on my Squier jagmaster that sticks out some. Quality control. I may try .11s on it to see how that changes things. The middle position is great for strumming. Just love it. I think the biggest suprise on these guitars is how good the pickups sound. The tuners aren't bad either.

Squier dont count. Scale is irrelevant.
