That's probably why it's Europe only. You Americans are much less likely to know who they are.

Fuck it. If Squier continue making great guitars beyond what people expect of them it can only be a good thing. A well built cheap strat WITH decent pups... You'd be a fool not to want it whether you like the band or not.

(btw my view of BC is that they are a great live band, recording-wise I don't give a ****)

I know and adore Placebo, but not Biffy

Also I'd go gaga if a Brian Molko Jag came out

In the current pricing structure it'd have to be a Squier. They're not big enough for a Fender version... or are they?

Maybe if they appear on Gossip Girl like SY (I can't find a puking emocon).

Speaking of awesome Squier strats...This made me go explore their website and I discovered....

DOOD HOT RAILS!

I've been thinking about getting a strat and modding it with some humbuggies for my more distorted stuff but this thing fits the bill perfectly! AND it's in the same series as my Jagmaster, with the same price, so I can get this thing and a set of locking Schallers from my local GC for 250. HEELLLLZZZZ TO THE YEAAAHHHH

I think it'd be better to get a single coil squier cheaper than that and just stick the duncan everything axe set in it

but this way all i'd need to swap are the tuners...and i actually don't mind the pups in this one. The Duncan Design pups are actually really really good for the money! I was shocked when I brought home my Jagmaster...And anyways, if I want to swap 'em I'll buy from GFS. They're awesome and I would rather support them then Seymour Richass Duncan.

Well admittedly I don't know much about GFS single coil size humbucker offerings.

One thing I've been wanting to try is putting in lace sensors like Billy Corgan did

Though apparently you gotta put in 500k or higher pots to make them worth anything

dude, pandora biffy clyro. they're pretty good.

kinda dreametal or something.

my favorite song of theirs is 'glitter & trauma.' hit or miss if you ask me, but their stuff has a nice offgroove to it.

pandora'ing. fanks for the tip.

EDIT: Hrmmm... kind of a "Hum" act with a more annoying vocalist? I'll give them a few more go's but it's not gone well so far. They did make me want to listen to Hum though... bonus.

Yeah... I can't get past the awful vocals. Tasty guitar work though. too bad. Not even worth pirating.

if robroe says they're shit, they must be.

if robroe compares something they play to something he wrote, they must be.

Awful Vocals? Kindly Do One.

Their harmonies are amazing. You dream of being able to sing that well.
