Of all the things to criticise them on? The vocals? They're almost peerless.

Awful Vocals? Kindly Do One.

Their harmonies are amazing. You dream of being able to sing that well.
How do harmonies equate to good singing? A bad singer can sing harmonies. Surely it's a matter of good writing?

Erm no. Singing a Harmony vocal is a lot trickier than singing a main vocal line.

And you're being obtuse. When I say "their harmonies I amazing", I of course mean the WRITING and EXECUTION are amazing. All three of them have great voices. Strong and characterful.

Took me a while to get used to the singing.

Choice guitar work though, I loved puzzle at the time.

I've tried to like them but can't get past the awful fake American accent singing.

I'm going to abstain from the debate...

I feel that no discussion on Biffy is complete without this, though:

See, I love that to bits. Really clever and effective arrangement and it rocks.

I also think his guitar sound is amazing. It's a Boss Metal Zone into a Peavey Classic30 and a Marshall Plexi. He must have that sucka dialed in WELL.

they're not really my cup of tea, but they built up a fanbase the hard way by playing the toilet circuit for years on end (since 1995 or something) and it's nice to see them getting some success. extremely nice chaps too.

Cheesy Disney vocals are cheesy. No character all sugar.

Being able to sing well does not mean a song is well sung. They certainly do not live up to the powerful guitar tone behind them.

Band needs some gravel and soul.

I love the weird time signatures they put in songs. And I love the vocals. And I also think that Buddy Holly cover is amazing.

They're quite a good band to be honest, I don't mind the vocals. The album "Infinity Land" is really good. I love My recovery Injection and Strung to your Ribcage on that album. Awesome songs.

You're an idiot. None of your "critiques" are applicable here. Listen to "Justboy", there is nothing fucking Disney about it.

You're completely wrong.

I listened to all them videos to see if i was wrong, nah, i cant get into it.
Bits and bobs remind me of Feeder, Foo Fighters and even QOTSA but its being played by a Pop Group. Reminds me when 'Busted' covered 'Teenage Kicks' by The Undertones. It just does'nt sit right with me.

You mean outside of the sacharine literally dripping off his voice? I'd rather Loren to Justin timberlake. More talented singer and at least there is soul and urgency in his performance.

I've listened to a number of their tracks at this point and it's all the same. Extremely talented and very creative riffs with a really awesome tone, ruined by a jounus brother frontman. He's practically prepackaged to appeal to tween girls and aparently salty British Internet-curmudgeons.

Call me an idiot all you want, I have wideranging and extremely diverse musical taste and this band is rubbish in my eyes. It's like baby tea... Sure it tastes good but if your totally going to cover the bitterness of the tea why not just drink warm sugared milk in the first place.

This is the first time I've ever heard of someone with a screamy voice compared to the Jonas brothers.

Just wait till you hear my band Sell Crazy, you're going to think we ARE the Jonas Brothers. Fuck me
