i'd say try one before you buy one. i liked mine, but it did take getting used to and a pickup upgrade.

UGH that bridge pickup is double shit. I'm thinking of putting a regular old strat single coil in mine?

Can someone explain the switching on the Jag-stang? I know its like the Mustang, but I heard you can split the humbucker in addition to both pickups individually and together, both in and out of phase.

No splitting, unless the wiring is modded. Exactly like the Mustang. One pickup or the other, or both in or out of phase.
