Benecoltrufact: a friend of mine is into scarrification, tatts, piercing and general mutilation etc. I bumped into him last November, and he'd just given up on his attempt to make his finger drop off by wrapping a tight band around it. His reason? He had tattooed 'LOVE' and 'HATE' on his knuckles (at 14, no less), but hoped that by removing his left little finger, fastening it to his right hand, and squinting a bit, his knuckles could be made to read 'GLOVE' and 'HAT' for winter.

I'd have done him a favour and cut off his fucking hand, then and there.
