I got a 1959 Silvertone 1451 yesterday. It's only got about 3 watts of power but is plenty loud for my bedroom.

Thanks man! Yeah,it sounds great.I didn't want to spend $1000 for a 1959 Champ so I got this one for $135.

Thanks! It's a 6" Rola speaker. Cabinet looks like it is made from some thick cardboard covered with thin leather textured wallpaper covered with gold sparkles.

Fer sure. And the little Rola speaker in this amp seems alot louder than the one that was in in the 1448 I used to have. The speaker in the 1448 was made by Fisher.

If my champ 600 has taught me anything, it's that a tiny combo turned up loud can be a wonderful thing.

Nice score.

I swear, your house is like a museum of oddities, it's awesome, you should charge admission and let people tour your house!
Lovely amp by the way.

do you know anything more about rola speakers? I have a late 50s radio I was thinking of converting into a guitar amp that has a rola speaker as well.
