I called England and have an update, they wouldn't allow someone other than me to collect it as it requires ID. My mum had to pay it by card over the phone and schedule a re-delivery. I realise it's strike day but hopefully they don't take too long. I think they may have gone in the post today but I'm hazy on the details as with the time zone difference it was very late when I called home from California.

Will post details if I hear anymore.

I explained the situation at the post office and filled the customs forms out precisely as they suggested. What we did was both legal and really the correct way of doing it especially considering I actually did go through and count up and package the orders correctly.

I feel awful that you guys have to pay extra on this, especially considering how long it's taking for you lot to actually get the picks. James, I wanna kick in some fundage to offset the cost to you guys since if anyone screwed the pooch here it had to be me. PM me you paypal info and an amount you think is fair.

There is a procedure for contesting customs charges. I don't know it off-hand but I'll look into it when I get back to England.

As for the payment, I'll again sort something when I get back. My main concern at the moment is just people getting them. I'll pay the charge and then if people want to put money towards it at some point I'll get some details together.

I'm glad some people have them. I was expecting them to take a bit longer with the strike.

Sometime soon we'll have to compile a list of who is yet to receive them.

The black ink wears off after about three minutes of playing, but they still rock pretty hard.
