Vintage Shortscale Supro Bass Guitar

Post by westtexasred »

What is the scale length on these old Supro basses?

I wonder if the one in the auction(above) was originally an Airline made for Montgomery Ward?

it appears to be very short. like that looks like it would be shortscale even for a guitar.

been drooling over a Airline Town & Country from the 1960's they have here at a local shop. Never quite have the cash to buy it, even if it's at 790/890 euros. Something else always comes up that sucks up my savings. Thankfully no-one else seems to be interested in the said instrument, since it's been around the shop for some time now.
