The reverb on my cyber twin is always on 100% of the time, Its set on 2, sometimes ill turn it way up if the song calls for it, but it just stays on 2 the whole time. Without reverb everything just sounds so lifeless, reverb just adds another dimension to my tone.

For some reason, on the older fender amps, the reverb pots were linear taper. That means that the reverb seems to jump up from 1 to about 4 and then not get much more dense from 4 up. I replaced the linear taper pot with an audio taper pot on my amp. Now, there's still the same amount of reverb on the amp, but the range of the knob sounds more even to the human ear.

OH GOD HOW DID I MANAGE TO SOLDER A LIVE CAR BATTERY TO THE CHASSIS? WHY IS THERE EVEN A CAR BATTERY IN HERE?

it's mainly why my 12 string is still in bits. i did't really unsolder it's pickup very well. The pickup is fucked from me supergluing a p90 on the top and then realised
that it looked shit. it pull the p90 cover and the metal pickup base off too. it may still work, just be microphonic. i don't know.

daisy rock electric 12 string. had a set of duncan mini humbuckers in it. i was gonna fit the mini HB's to the goldtop and the p90's in the 12 strings. fuckers didn't fit in either.

i did. i bodge fitted the humbucker, didn't like it. fitted the original pickup back in and left it well alone.

Okay, not all of his output is great, but regardless of your feelings towards alt/country/rock, Love is Hell is a masterpiece. I doubt it's heavy enough for your tastes, aen, but I think a lot of people here would love it if they gave it a chance.

Yeah makes sense, and yes I think that's the same on my amp - I'll have to check though.
To be honest I usually don't go lower than 2 or 3 so might be wrong!

excellent spring reverb here

and all the other options as well.

I think reverb works best if you can put it in an effects loop (i guess that's obvious?).

ryan adams is brilliant. Heartbreaker is fucking amazing. a lot of his more "rock" stuff is a bit lack luster.
