I very suddenly desire a Super-Sonic.

A) Does anyone have one to sell

B) How much should I be expecting to pay for one of these? I didn't find shit on ebay.

Lately I have seen them going in about the $400-$500 range in the US. Just keep checking eBay. Make sure to search both Squier Supersonic and Squire Supersonic. Sometimes bad spelling on the seller's part means not as many people will see it. I usually see the Silver sparkles for sale most often. Last week I saw two for sale in my favorite colors (Blue Sparkle and White). You might see the black ones but not as common. None for sale now but they come up pretty regularly.

Do your search like this
(squier, squire) super*
You'll get some extra crap with it, superstrats or whatever, but it should cover all genuine listings

The last 2 I saw in the UK were £120 and £150, those were from private sellers though not evilbay.

300-400 € here, I would expect the same in $. They are usually modified.

Ick. $400 is more than I would expect for a guitar I would need to do some modification to.

I would like a black one but if I could only get a sparkle I'd refin it to dark blue. I'd have to move the input jack plate to the other side and make a new pickguard to cover the holes.

Yeah, this is so fucking lame but I saw Omar in ATDI in a vid recently and was like whoaaaaaa what lefty Fender is that!? Found out it was a Super Sonic and I liked it a lot. So now I want one.

Guess this will be like my Bronco, something I'll desire for a long time but will take years before I actually get one. Thanks y'all.

Are you a lefty? You might consider flipping a Jagmaster over if your left hand? Might be cheaper!

Except the Jagmaster has a normal righty body. What appeals to me about the Super-Sonic is the left-hand body and neck, I'd just have to move the control plate.

Yes, I'm a lefty.

Rob, yeah I know dude, I didn't think I'd ever own a Twin either unless I could find one for ~$600. And I did finally. I'm patient.

The Bronco I know I'll never own because I have never seen them lefty.

I wanted to do this for years...but never did.
Would be really interested to see what the outcome is if you do decide to go for it Pens.
The supersonic flipped a la Omar looks ever so sweet.

I just got back from driving to a local GC to see if maybe they had a used one. Nope. I am on a mission and this will be my next guitar, as soon as I can find one.

Until I saw a vid of ATDI (never bothered searching for them before) I wrote off the Super-Sonic because it didn't look very cool upside down. Turned right side up, and the control plate moved, HOLY SHIT and I can get one without being accused of trying to be teh Kurtsds like I would with a Mustang. This guitar is on my buy list ASAP.

Found one finally but it's listing for $400 at the moment....don't have a spare $400 so I'm just going to keep quiet about where I found it until I can get the monies together...

i think some guys at offset have outlines for the body, then you could just build your own and have a standard neck pocket.

Eh fuck that. I just called the place that had it to try to work out me giving them $100 to hold it for a month til I get the other $300 together. I'm buying this shit.
