I was thinking this at first too but if they were soapbars they couldn't be TRUE robroe as they'd need 2 screws on the top to mount the pickup to the guitar, which would ruin the clean look.

just my opinion but, I think uncovered humbuckers are terribly ubiquitous and boring. whenever I see a guitar with uncovered black humbuckers, I just think "borrrrinnnggg." you need to do something to them to mix it up. well, unless they're in a guitar they don't usually come standard in, like a jag or tele. I love the crowded busy look of a jag with humbuckers. In that case it's just so wrong it's right.
