Snaffled one for ΓΒ£100 BIN, not too bad! Seemed a decent price that I wouldn't want to miss out on again.

as many have stated the SMMH has the following issue.
if you record a loop and then switch to delay mode, the blend knob controls level of loop which means that if you want a low volume delay setting the loop will be almost lost.
i was wondering if we could make a tiny loop switch thing that will take the signal before the hazarai, will have send-return for the hazarai and will output a mix of blended wet-dry signals controlled by a knob?
that sounds doable hmm?
i expect mike to throw some science

It needs lots of jacks, so it can't be too small. You need:riotshield wrote:yes, exactly, what you reckon will be the smallest chassis for something like this?
Input from pedal before Hazarai/guitar
Send to Hazarai
Return from Hazarai
Output to next pedal in chain/amp
Plus I would recommend a pot for each (post Hazarai and clean sound) ahead of a blend stage.
The only problem would be the blending stage. It would have to have sufficient headroom to not clip unpleasantly when mixing two potentially hot signals. This would probably mean a charge pump to run it off +-15V, which means more circuitry. Basically I would probably opt for a case larger than a Saltbooster case (Muff/Saltshaker sized) to have plenty of room for everything. Plus there is whether you would want it switchable to take into account. Basically it's not a simple task and needs a lot of careful spec'ing for it to be exactly what you wanted to solve the problem.

15V would be supplied internally via a charge pump circuit from the original 9V input.
However I have a lot of orders on the go and this would need some serious R&D, preferably with the pedal in question to hand to test prototyped circuits.
As for separating out the internal functionality to a breakout box? Forget about it. That thing is a computer, literally.
