So a while ago you may remember the sunburst & mint thread, after I had changed my guard on my Jag.
And I liked it for sure. Thought it looked pretty damn good...however...earlier I changed my strings and stuck the tort back on, and came to the conclusion that this just makes the guitar look "right".
So I went from this back to this:
Won't be changing the colour of the pg again...
I am thinking about putting some Jag pups back in it (after I get Bareknuckle to rewind them to my specs of course) and I have a spare tort guard ready for that.

Oooh controversial
I know Fran used to have a Sunburst/black Jag, and whilst it did look cool, I definitely prefer the tort (as long as it's brown, not red).

tort looks way better. Sunburst and black is cool to. Get some black or chrome covers for the pickups, i think it would look even nicer

Sunburst & tort is classic jaguar business IMO.

Haha, didn't realise you had Fran's old Jag - must have missed that one.
But well done, tort is definitely better.

I love the Fender logo on lefty necks. It doesn't have all that model names and other crap, it's looks nice and simple.

Hmmm. I'm still sporting the original red tort on my Sunburst jag, I have never considered doing a PG swap on it, just liked the red tort. This thread has me thinking now, going to go shopping.
Thom, where the hell did you find a shop that sells lefty Jag pickguards?

Agreed... some might hate me for this, but I usually sand off everything but the logo on my project guitars. Simplicity is sexy.
