This is a pedal that people in boring bands use. The sample goes round and round. Then they sample a bit more on it, maybe something different. Then play over that, then... I usually go for a piss until the next band comes on.

I tried a headrush a while back, pretty boring.

I had one, could never get the loop to close properly, always ended up with a slight gap so after a few bars was well out of time. Got rid of it after a few months.

They're very easy to use but nothing to write home about. I tend to only use mine when I'm writing something and I want to jam another track over the chord progression without having to record anything. As they have the delay and echo functions too I'd say they're decent value secondhand but overpriced new.

It's the Bush to RC20's Nirvana
The Heart to the DL4's Led Zeppelin.
It's the Right Hand to the Boomerang's Megan Fox

These analogies are not of equal weight.

I've got the headrush 1, and i like it for noise freakouts, and for practicing, but as a live tool, it's limiting. The guys above who posted that it's for boring bands are correct, with the exception of the band Sah. However, the delay's on it are nice, and if you're doing minimal looping it's a nice pedal. I find the four line-outs for simulated tapehead effects is really unnecessary, but if you're looking for that, then this is definitely your pedal.

I had one. Works well with clean playing but did'nt suit my racket. I'd go for a Jam Man over this anyday.

doesn't the dude in melt banana use an ipod as looper or is it just for samples ?

i would never get along with loopers i think, it takes too much practice, precision and patience, not my thing.
