FAO: All you dudes that make pedals

Post by ProcessedMeatMan »

Do you guys make anything for basses specifically or is usually just straight up guitar stuff? I'm in the market for some bass effects and was curious if any shortscalers had any rad shit I could check out.

As for any specific types of things, I've been wanting to pick up an octave shifter and some sort of keyboard-bass modulator... something that has an electronic/robotic sound to it.

1901 by Phoenix is an example of what I'm talking about:

all of aens stuff is geared toward low end. so in a way, all of his stuff works well on the bass.
perhaps something weird like the hax pedal or something.

For the most part, the only difference between guitar and bass effects is the value of the coupling capacitors.

I find it generally a good idea to have a dry output on anything you run a bass through, depends on what you're going for of course. People who don't like bass won't be interested.

The stuff I licensed from Devi Ever ('Manglers, Spectacular Aenima) is not very bass friendly, but everything else is. Roachello and sublimedo fight over the eau Claire thunder for guitar/bass, Im told.
