Just watched her on The Colbert Report with her Mustang,Is it vintage?Band had some nice guitars too.This is an older pic,she has short hair now.

Ah you beat me to it! I watched tonight as well. She and I have twinsy stangs. Stimulating...

It looked vintage to me, though I don't really have the expertise to say either way. the dakota red, the plates, and th headstock all looked a bit aged, though nt so much in that pic. Also, the thing was barely on. Still awesome, though.

You could see lacquer checking when the light reflected - definitely vintage.

Was she using a Vox Pathfinder? It looked way too small to be a AC15.

You can tell its vintage pre CBS by the headstock shape if nothing else. CBS enlarged the headstocks and made them like slightly neater IMO.

she was interviewed in the mail on sunday, stating her favourite guitar was her vintage fender mustang. she goes on to state she collects a lot of guitars, mainly old acoustics and fenders.
