I'm thinking of refinishing my CP Jaguar next year... probably with Manchester Guitar Tech Fender colours.
Can anyone do mock ups?
With Shell Pink - Tort or White would be acceptable pickguards in my opinion.
Sonic Blue, Seafoam Green and Daphne Blue would only have white pickguards as I'm not a cretin
Black would work with Tort I think.
Does anyone also know about anyone who makes aftermarket CP guards and/or whether a CIJ will fit?

Daphne Blue with white or mint would be awesome. I'm not sure about the guard tho I doubt a Japanese one would fit tho.

Shell Pink.
BUT
Are you not tempted to flog it, and buy a guitar of a different flavour?

I like Jaguars.
These two Jaguars I own are very different guitars. Mosrite - not reaally a fan of the shape, Casino - done the Semi Acoustic thing (I owned a Riviera for years), not my thing at all.
A Strat is the only possibility, but I just know I would regret swapping a Jaguar for one. I mean, it's a fucking Strat. They're great guitars but... YAWN

yeah, if you were gonna but a strat, buy a beat up one and just mod the hell out of it how you want it. I would not trade a jag for a strat unless it was a USA and was exactly the strat you wanted.

I may be wrong, but I actually dig the pink on the Jaguar. I wouldn't choose it over another color for myself, but it just shows that an awesome guitar is cool in almost any color. My daughter would love it.

Aen's CP looked so good in Shell Pink. I would say to do that!

If you are thinking pink, why not go all out. Reminds me of the Supersonic finishes

i'm tempted to say pink or daphne, but how about a thin white nitro coat directly over the sunburst and letting it get a bit worn and chipped?
