Have played the Hofner Club - it's great. No tone control, though.

On the Hofner website it says 15th November 2009 is when they posted up the news about them. I want one of those Galaxie bass's... but cant find anywhere in the UK with them yet. Only a couple of places in the US seem to have em too.

Those double cuts were blown out a few years back on MF for like $99-199. They got mixed reviews too, even on the cheaps I don't think people were impressed with the quality.

They sucked. My local shop had them on the wall for 3 years - only thing that got rid of them was the store burning down.
The Club is ace, though.
