Tired of recieving used stuff!!!

Post by Haze »

Seriously, i just received my new "well featured delay" pedal and it is clearly a re-packaged item sold as new.
How might i assume such a thing?

BECAUSE it has some dudes writing on the back of the literature book! And, not to mention, the Micro POG's [as mentioned ON THE BACK OF THE BOOK] instruction and warranty card.

Isn't it illegal to sell a used item as New? From my 3 years of retail knowledge - YES FUCKERS!

Its such a great pedal and i won't want to hassle with sending it back. But come on, this has happened to me more than once.

btw, calling now, misrepresentation is illegal. don't want to mess with sending it back, going to insist i paid for what i got - a used item

EDIT

Called them back, asked to pay the used price instead of dealing with shipping a new one

$211.65 used

$37.35 credited back to card, kphnx!

when you're buying new?

i buy exclusively used stuff if i can, but if i'm expecting new, that's another ballgame.

No micro pog, just some guys info cards from one he bought.

Maybe a POG2 if it'll fit on the board. But that'll be a while. I'll probably get a PP2+ first.

please don't act like it was relevant. he made a thread about getting ripped off (somewhat), and rather than comiserate, you rubbed it in that you don't have that problem, because you only buy used.

when you order new, and you pay for new, you should get new. damn right they refund you, but it's so typical they try to just get max money for it and hope customers won't bother contacting them about it.
