I am pissed but intrigued. Why? Because for my current project, we have been sponsored by Cisco to create the next generation Flip video. My idea was to target musicians to provide them with a quick and simple way to record music videos, demos, and music. Pretty much all of shortscale is my target market.

My idea was to have the Flip video be able to record just audio in addition to video. James gave me the idea of connecting a microphone to it but seems like these guys already had the heads up :(

Anyway, it's a pretty interesting product despite my envy and feelings of doom
