All things to these who wait, it's dark now and it's drying in the shed.

Here's the digital format though:

If you don't like that stuff, there is something really wrong with you.

Mike, your pedals just keep getting cooler. I can really see the progression from your earlier work. I love the inside shots of the circuitry. It's really obvious the hard work and fun you have making these pedals. Hopefully when you are making pedals for big name rock stars in the future, we can all show off these early creations and say we knew him before he hit the big time.

Totally agree... they look stunning. Mike is very modest... perhaps too modest.

With a few wise moves I think this could really take off in a big way.

any chance of some SFT in the future? Excellent pedal but Catalinbread makes it at a fair price as it is. Good folk

Cheers guys, much appreciated :-)

As always, any praise of the designs has to go to the original designers and Benecol

I actually did a layout for the SFT yesterday, it hasn't been verified yet but the wheels are in motion. I agree that Catalinbread do their pedals at a great price though, particularly for those in the States - they're doing really well as a result.

hey mike, you can print coloured decals, right?
if so i have a slightly special request.

i'm after a fuzz face but i am totally in love with green on black/dark green. i was wondering if you could do a black (or dark green) fuzz face with the text and the border stuff (the regular decal) in green?

i may order this thing + a star wars DLS in the coming weeks off you.

side note: it feels very strange going to a website i helped to create to read information that i formatted and put into the page myself.

haha @ website bit.

So you're wanting green text on darker green or black? It is possible.

Basically what I use are self adhesive clear stickers. So I print on them with my inkjet printer, which obviously cannot print white ink, so any white (or brightness in other colours) has to be provided by the paint underneath, so these boxes were painted white (obviously) hence you can see the design in photorealistic format. Benecol could knock you up a design which would be black and green and I could lay it on a white case and it would look mint.

If you wanted it to have black sides and bottom I could do that but it will make the pedal more of a headache to paint as it'll be done in several more stages. Doable though.

Bear in mind my build time is approx 3 weeks, and I will be away Dec 17th 2009 to Jan 1st 2010 in Canada, so any outstanding builds will be stalled for that period of time. I'm afraid there's not much I can do about that, but I've been telling people upfront and aiming for noone except Rhys (who can't pay me till Jan anyway) to be affected so far. However new orders from this point on definitely will be finished Jan 14th 2010 by earliest I suspect.

ahh, yeah i forgot about that.

actually, printers work in CMYK. mixing 100% cyan with 100% yellow but no magenta or black nets this green:

if my thinking is correct that would result in that green being printed out in solid colour so it could then be laid on a regular black painted pedal.

Nope. You lay that on a black pedal it'll be dark as shit. It needs the light of the paper/white paint to actually be green, trust me.
