musicians friend also has $50 cases. http://accessories.musiciansfriend.com/ ... sku=540946

I think it will fit, but it may be a little too roomy.

ok, I dunno. will these dimensions not work?
Musician's Gear Deluxe Bass Case Specifications:

Length: 47-1/2"
Width: 13-3/4"
Depth: 3"
Body Length: 19-1/2"
Body Width: 13-3/4"
Utility compartment: L= 14-1/2, W=8-1/2"
it looks to me like it's a bit too long.

The bodies of Super-Sonics are slightly scaled down, reverse versions of the Jaguar.
Finding a case that will fit it like glove will be difficult but adding a bit of padding around the "long horn" area of Jaguar case should work just fine.
Otherwise, you could get one of these rectangular cases that just sandwich whatever's inside between two sheets of thick egg crate foam.
