i dont know if im hyper sensitive, artistic, petty or retarded but:
i hate the non-matching jaguar headstock b/c it NEEDS to be ocean turqoise too !
i think the supersonic would look dumb and chincy with blue sparkle matching headstock!
any opinions?

The Jaguar would look good either way. Don't sparkle the headstock on the Supersonic. Too much of a good thing. It needs that balance of sparkle body and glossy neck

i think the jag would look good
but i agree that 2x sparkle is too much
if you wanted to refinish a neck in the same colour? how easy would it be. ive always thought about the possibility of it. especially difficult with regards to getting hold of a "fender jaguar" transfer?

I think all guitars look better with plain headstocks, the only exception being some Comp Mustangs.

I've always dug matching headstocks but a plain 'stock is nothing to sniff at. still a very nice guitar.

I forgot that one. The fact I didn't notice means it was classy.

lol, coronados do look proper, only way of putting it.
Don't mess with painting the headstock! it looks great as it is, and it takes time that you could spend rocking the thing

is that your jag?
i used to have an OTC jag, but i had to sell it to pay for vet bills(damnit i miss that guitar!)
i like matching stocks, i like plain stocks, i like guitars that are painted, i like guitars that are natural.
honestly i could give a shit less about color alot of the time...
but i do get a certain stiffy for old jags with matching headstocks.

high end gretsch power jet which is a beast.

Hey asshole quit bumping all these fucking dead threads.
It's pretty obvious you just did it to see classifieds when you stopped doing it when your post count reached 51.

Hey asshole, I'm new here, and I've been reading threads that I am interested in. If I want to post to every one I will. Please put your attitude away.
Now, back to the point. Some people hate painted headstocks, some like plain ones. Maybe I should post a pole? I am interested in what percent like it either way.
