i would pay up to and including $500 for that green telecaster exactly how it sits. shame it will go over $1000

SNAP, we can almost clone those things then. if we can get CAD drawing of the pickups we could potentially get a group orders of covers made, hmmmmmm.

i could probably arrange to make some cad drawings of the pickups.
i'd need to acquire/install cad software though
but that isn't to hard to track down.

but what's under the cover? a mini humbucker or something? they're active pickups though, right? what do the electronics inside look like? I assume there's a preamp of some sort in there?

probably need dimensions to see what would fit under there, i would imagine mini-humbucker would be the best bet.
