does the bridge pickup on a strat have a tone knob thats shared with the middle pickup?
or is it toneless?
i re-wired a strat and followed a book, and everything is ace, except the bridge pickup doesn't work with a tone knob. is it supposed to work like that?

That's normal. Bridge is not attached to tone knob stock.

The bridge & middle sharing a tone knob is common, simple, and useful mod involving 1 jumper.

i think it is better to put the neck and bridge to the tones, leaving the middle toneless for those wah like shifts of pickup control
