I love my cyber twin, But I just don't put it up to what I can do. I just set it up clean and use pedals.
So Im thinking about changing to just a great tube amp with an awesome clean channel. I need a blank canvas. I want to try to stay under $1000 and to be a 2X12 combo would be best. It needs to be able to get loud and stay clean too. Help me out shortscale!
any suggestions would be great!

i was in your exact spot a lil over a year ago. I loved my cyber twin, but only used it for cleans. i ended up getting a sweet bassman head and cab in a trade and i have not turned on the cyber twin more than 4 times in that time period.
honestly you should look into getting an old bassman head, they sell for fairly cheap, and the re-sale value is always going to be there.
either that or bugera, mike has one and i was blown away by how good it sounded and the reverb was pure sexiness.
the great thing about bugera is they are well worth the asking price and they come in combo units and head/cab setups.
