I originally was going with Jaguar knobs, but the Witch hats won out in the end. Though I love the stock knobs on my new Jaguar.benadrian wrote:Witch Hat knobs rule! Choosing knobs for a guitar is sometimes the most difficult aesthetic choice.taylornutt wrote:

My father is covering paint. Still to get is a clear/tint for the neck since its unfinished.
I'm sure lots of people will say its expensive for a project but who eh, who cares! I got a great deal on the allparts.com stuff [dealer cost] so that helps. Still don't have a bracket for the mini pots so i'm going to try and make one myself from dimensions/what will fit my guard/body when it returns.
Still waiting on robert for the body work.

you have to file down the neck pocket part of the pickguard. line everything else up where it goes and then file the neck pocket down until it lines up. pretty much every pickguard I've ever gotten I've had to do this before it would fit.
for the neck pocket in the body you should be able to work that down some way as well. if it's not snug you can always put a shim in there.

cogito ergo sum...thing or other...
what is that line in the neck pocket? is that as far as the neck goes? if the neck can bolt in there and you can push the pickguard up to that line it should work fine as long (as the bridge is in the right spot in correlation to that line in the pocket).Haze wrote:
