Ashdown Bass Amps?
Any opinions on these kinda amps, particularly the heads?
From playing one in a shop it sounded pretty awesome, so I wondered what you folks thought about th ABM series, particularly the old-ish Evo ii's?
Cheers.

and he'd be like, nah bro, lets fucking get high and have some beers and talk about pussy, and i'd be like COME ON BITCH, and then he'd start crying.
i had one, the budget one this :
but the rack version

i liked it lots. simple and good for that price though i must say i could get a much better gnarly bass sound with my sansamp bass driver in front of it, just gave it a bit more balls. sub octave is very subtle but good if you like some extra low end without having to sacfrice the clarity and punch. i put it through an ampeg svt 410 and an eden 210 but always wondered how much better it could've sounded if i just would've gotten a 12 in that setup or a couple but the size would've been a problem and the ampeg alone was heavy enough, sucks when you gotta haul around your own gear

I've played through a few of their heads and combos (including a new-ish tube model, very nice!), own the MAG300 myself. Always managed to dial in a decent and usable tone in each instance, they're pretty good in that respect. I think they tend to put in cheap fuses that blow almost immediately, no gripes other than that though!
