weird green/blue burst coronado

Post by stewart »

hullo!

i was browsing this here interneb and came across a lovely corrynardo- at first i thought it was LPB with some purpley overspray a-la compstangs but on closer inspection- it's transparent green with a bluish burst. but also- check the back of the neck!

they did some queer painting on these, i've got a picture of one (i've posted it before) where the back of the neck is sunburst. mental.

i like this one though, it's lovely:

what a ghastly wretched finish.

I think you all are being fooled by the picture. there's no blue, that's just the reflection. it's just green and black ecto-burst. the reflection is hiding all the nasty green grain. look at that back of the headstock shot (the only shot without massive reflection).

I think this may be the correct answer.
The back of the headstoch has got the *shudder* ...grain.

But AH! Let us of dream of solid colours. Lavish and Luxuriant in their solidness...

on closer inspection i think it's just a transparent green, and the thicker coating at the edges makes it look like a burst in the photos (see bottom right edge):

don't think there's any black in it though.

i likes it anyways.
