Best Jazzmaster copy I've ever seen

Post by Mr.Ripley »

I just saw this Greco Jazzmaster on the bay and am quite impressed. I knew about serviceman guitars before but I'd never seen one by an actual guitar company and in suck nice nick! Is this some kind of Fender changeover or japan online marketed guitar? Thought I'd share, pirce isn't half bad either if the build quality'd as good as it looks!

The whole thing looks good, too.

Nice! I'm a big fan of Greco, I've seen these in catalogs before but this is the first time I've ever seen one of them on ebay. they're pretty rare. and not just ebay rare, but like, truly rare. in the US at least. can't speak for Japan. but yea dude, this is why Fender picked the same team of craftsmen at Fujigen who were making these to make the guitars for Fender Japan.

Yep this is a precursor to the Fender Japan Jazzy reissues. It'll be the same as them except for the logo then.

That's awesome. Greco's are pretty awesome. This one is in great condition. I'm betting it goes for way too much money.

higher end super reals had nitro finishes. the 850 and up les pauls did. not sure about the fender models.
the jags and jazzys are really rare. even in japan. this guy was well known back then for playing fender offsets:

Well the most modern things now are totally fuckin' 80s. So you can see the logic.
