EHX memory toy

I got a memory toy from my girlfriend for Christmas. yeah we do our Christmas a little early, as the time Christmas comes it will be all family stuff and I wont see her. Anyways

This pedal blew my mind. I have never had an all analog delay but this thing is really blew me away, everything is so lush. The repeat knob is super sensitive and this thing will go into spaceish ambiance early on the dial. its oscillations are amazing, the modulation is great, (even though I plan on using it with my small clone more) and its cheap!! This is easliy the best analog delay on the market for the money. A very merry Christmas indeed. Its a great compliment to my DL4 and both pedals work extremely well together.

Awesome! Another memory toy user.

i hardly ever use the mod. section on mine. Its abit too full on for my tastes, and i don't have a screwer small enough to adjust the trimmer = [

The price isn't low enough as compared to the memory boy to justify me not going for the latter.

I bought the boy for the delay, i'm keeping it for the modulation, there's so many weird sounds ican get from that thing!

Thanks for the info. I am glad it works well with the DL4. I am thinking of getting a Memory boy or toy to go along with the DL4. That way I can use the DL4 for the more obscure presets. I need to change out the switches on the DL4 first.

Then buy one, maaaaaaan! Why limit what your pedal can do for you by not spending a few extra quid?

I was thinking about a boy or toy to run after my dmm to get noiser stuff, I might also buy a boss delay soon.
How much ms of delay does the boy and toy have?

if its anything like the memory boy its more like 430 depending on the weather. seriously.
my guess is the chip has to warm it self up or something because its max delay times change a lot. once in a while i'll gauge it with the nova's audio tap feature and it always comes up short of 550ms

I've got some poundshop wire cutters and they're useless, they can't even cut through strings just make little nicks on them

wut.

just open a few crackers, there's bound to be a little screwdriver set in one of em. i still use one of those screwdrivers for small flathead screws.
