fretless 12 string

i want a fretless guitar, i love the 12 string i got from them (harm w/ toasters) but i can't figure how this guitar would be useful.

(note that the description still mentions frets, wtf?)

with steel strings and that kind of setup, I'd assume it's for sitar-lovers who want to try something new. Godin's Glissentaur (nylon) is somewhat in theat vein of thought, but more of a guitar and Egyptian/Syrian oud mix.

Close your eyes and this Turk sounds almost exactly like he's playing an Oud at times:

Or get your Harrison on with a Godin Multiac Fretless.

Still, I'd probably prefer an electric Oud for those signature toanz, and the fact that they looks so bizarre.

Might be able to get some amazing sounds out of that, especially if you're a sitar fan. Kind of an odd body shape for a 12 string - especially one without any frets.
