Any Opinions on Laney Bass Stuff?

Do any of you folks have experience with Laney RB bass amps?

I've got the chance to snag an RB9 300w head and 4x10 cab for £150, but I've never had a chance to play any Laney gear. This seems like a pretty fantastic deal though.

Opinions?

I haven't played that one, but our school have a fairly cheap 1x12 one for concerts and stuff. When my band used to practice at school we really loved how it sounded. £150 for 300 watts and a 4x10 sounds like you can't really go wrong.

Go for it- the bassist in a few of my college bands had a similar Laney head and 4x10 (deep as HELL) and it sounded great. At that price for both head and cab, you'd be a fool not to.
