Its along the same lines as the Hofner Verythin Eric.. more electric than acoustic.

Thanks Rob, i'll consider that. Obviously i'd give you something for it but i've kind of established with James' help its the deeper body i want without the Gretsch size. I'll let you know ;)

Man up, dig a little deeper and snap this up. And lovely as they are, and much as I know you wouldn't, there's a world of difference between a thinline tele and a semi-acoustic.

Nice, do you get a free trilby with it? Nah, its got that 'earthy' appeal like James 175. I like. Never thought to look at Godin..

I'm going to buy another jazz box after I sell mine so I'm keeping my eye on what's available, mostly in a market awareness way to be ready for a future purchase but partly on the lookout for a great deal. Keep me up to date with what you're after and I'll send you any ebay links or other deals I come across.

I can't get on board with the depth of those bad boys (ES175s and the lark)

I sort of really wanted to like my Riviera when I was in my big Elliott Smith phase but I just never really got on with it.

I don't like the really big bodied stuff, I played my friends Gretsch and it was a bit overwhelming to be honest. Like, why?

Went to proggys earlier and dropped him the Marshall off, got his 335 copy with me now In the work van. At least I'll have something to do if I get snowed in.

shame you weren't stranded here, we could rock out and booze it up. :D

that 335 is probably ready for a string change and a little intonation tweak, sounded good at practise a few weeks ago.
