Stuff like that really annoys me, yeah i love gear and obesss over tone more then a lot of guitar players do but come on. At least I know how to play. I mean good god, yeah you have a giant board of crazy effects, do you know how to use them to make interesting music? do you know how they all work? are you even playing music that make you happy?

Agreed with sir Isaac.

Haven't posted the STUFF in a while. Mainly because I've been waiting on some lava cables for a month. Here is how things have been going lately:

Image

guitar > pitchblack > ocd/dls > memory boy > volume pedal > sunface fuzz > lpb-1 > nova delay >stereo> rv-7 >stereo> amp

one signal path goes into the bass channel of my bassman, the other to the normal channel. It yeilds surprising eq options by doing this. Really enjoying the thicker sound of the two channels together. Also enjoying the memory boy into the fuzz, I'm starting to see what Isaac is on about. The lpb-1 is at the end for a overall volume boost, the OCD is set up for treble boosting which is great with the fuzz. VPJR before fuzz also let's me fine tune it's gain.

Lava cables and POSSIBLY a pp2+ to make things cleaner and less of a hastle to set up at gigs.
Some sort of modulation is still something I would like to dive into soon.

the isaac eaton wrote:actually its probably because you have got a pretty nice board going there, but to a lot of people on HC if your board isnt full of eventide, pigtronix, and diamond pedals and tube screamers as well then GET OUT.

I mean look at this bastard.

See, I think the HiWatt looks fantastic in that colour scheme. Also:

HiWatts are about the cleanest, clearest amps in the world; the problem would be getting it to break up without it flapping your trousers clean off. In fact, I think we're all being pretty hasty here - I think that's a fucking lovely setup. There are far more TGP-tastic pedalboards you could have picked to illustrate your point.

I'm more annoyed at the cables there from the back of the telly that aren't tidy.

why would you take the casters off?

Guy is kind of off though. Why would you have all those high end pedals and then buy that line 6 thing? At first I thought it was a tc electronics controller which would have made sense as it could have been for controlling the pedals. I have seen people who tour alot have a ton of pedals but keep them by the amp and use a controller for it all up front. But I don't think this is the case here.
